Dolly was born on January 19, 1946, in Sevierville, Tennessee. She grew up in a large family with eleven siblings in what she described as being “dirt poor”. She married Carl Thomas Dean on May 30, 1966 and they are still together. Her biggest hits include Jolene, Coat of Many Colors and Heartbreaker.
